Sliding Series
The Sliding series makes its appearance in the sliding doors sector. A sliding door has some peculiarities that make it difficult or even impossible to apply the sort of automatic draught excluder traditionally conceived for swing doors. Comaglio have designed and patented their new ZERØCONTRAST mechanism for automatic draught
excluders, simple to install and perfectly compatible with most types of sliding doors.
ZERØCONTRAST has 4 fundamental characteristics:
• efficiency guaranteed by a consistent and even compression of the seal on the floor;
• no resistance when closing the door. No lock is needed or any other means of constraint to keep the door closed;
• traction drive with completely invisible command block;
• simplified universal installation for application on both overlapping and pocket doors, opening to the right or to the left.

CERTIFICATIONS
The reduction of external noise is one of the main features of a good door. To improve this characteristic it is fundamental to optimise the closing of the gap between door and floor. Thus the draught excluder represents an essential and necessary element in obtaining good results. In compliance with the standards UNI EN ISO 10 140, UNI EN ISO 717 and DIN 52 210, all our products have been certified with excellent results at Istituto Giordano and the IFT Institute of Rosenheim.
The resistance of a door and draught excluder to fire and propagation of the same is contemplated by various directives. For this reason Comaglio draught excluders can be provided with linings that comply with the BS 476 and UL 94 standard, making them suitable for application on fire barrier doors.
Sealing off the smoke in a secure fire compartment during the initial phases of the fire is essential for ensuring visibility and habitability of the escape routes. For this reason, with reference to the UNI EN 1634 standard, the Comaglio draft excluders have passed smoke dispersion tests, obtaining certification from the BM TRADA institute.
The function of Comaglio draught excluders is guaranteed to be long lasting. This is supported by the certification issued by Istituto Giordano which submitted catalogue items to 200,000 complete opening-closing movements of the door without finding any limitation of functions or other signs of wear and tear at the end of the test.
